DynaWell™ is a medical compression device that facilitates the detection of degenerative lumbar spinal disorders for a more specific and relevant diagnosis as compared with conventional techniques. DynaWell is cost-effective, non-invasive and simple to use. It is compatible with virtually all CT and MRI scanners, for use during supine examination. DynaWell provides an axial compressive load on the lumbar spine to simulate the posture and gravitational load as if the patient were standing. For patients with sciatica, neurogenic claudication, or other clinical symptoms or signs of stenosis, the result is an enhanced diagnosis of encroachment of the spinal canal in disorders such as central and lateral stenosis, disc herniations, intraspinal synovial cysts and other pathologic changes.
