Symptoms include:
- Bright red cheeks
- A red rash that lasts from two to 39 days and is exacerbated by stress, exercise, or heat. The rash may itch and have a lacy appearance.
- Low-grade fever
- Rarely, headache, sore throat, and joint pain
Some rashes may last several weeks or fluctuate with environmental factors, such as exercise and warm baths. These are both normal.
