Symptoms
Seventy-five percent of women have no symptoms associated with chlamydia. When they do occur, symptoms include:

• Pain urinating
  
• Yellowish vaginal discharge
  
• Unpleasant vaginal odor
  
• Pelvic pain or pressure
  
• Pain during intercourse
  
• Bleeding after intercourse or after a pelvic exam
  

Seventy-five percent of men do experience symptoms, including:

• Burning during urination
  
• Clear discharge from the penis
  
• Swelling and pain in testicles
  
• Itching around the urethral opening
